All 2007 Results

NZAA Committee member Carol Yan and Alison Worthington played a French duet, dressed the part and won the Open Entertainment Duet category.
Jiang Yin (China) was looked lovely in her bright yellow scarf
and dress and played really well too, winning the
South Pacific Button Accordion Solo Championship category.
Yang Xue (China) placed second in the same category.
Harley Jones presenting the New Zealand Free Bass Championship trophy
to Christopher Thwaites which was part of the prize giving for all categories
held on Sunday morning.
Accordion Workshop by Alma Flammersberger (Bosnia, Germany) and Tania Lukic-Marx (Australia) was well attended and very enjoyable too.
It was a real hands on seminar in multi languages
and very interesting for all those attending.
Well known performer Heather Gladstone and teacher Wallace Liggett,
author of the book "The History of the Accordion in New Zealand"
John Statham and Harley Jones presenting a thank you plaque to
Grayson Masefield for being a New Zealand competitor at the
2006 Coupe Mondiale in Asker, Norway.
Thank you certificates were presented to Amber Masefield, Heather Masefield, Harley Jones and Carol Yan for their efforts in being delegates for the New Zealand Accordion Association at the 2006 Coupe Mondiale in Asker, Norway.
Starlight Duo of Lionel Reekie and Maurice Jones put on a
great performance for the crowd.
 
The ever popular Starlight Duo got the crowd really going with some
cajun and rock n roll.
