Judges on Saturday morning in the main auditorium were:

Daughters Keava and Siobhan supporting father Colm on crutches with his
injured foot in plaster. Colm drove the family two hours from Hamilton to be there.
Another interesting entry in the same category was Helen & David Evans,
Rowan & Kieran van den Hurk with their Kildare Medley of Irish music.
Helen even did some Irish dancing.

Prizegiving begins - its a busy stage at times with President John reading out the results and Vice-President Harley presenting certificates, trophies and ribbons.

South Pacific 15 years and under Accordion Championships Prize-giving:
John Statham, Harley Jones, Edward Giffney 1st, Olivia Panzic 2nd = Campbell Thwaites 2nd =, Bor-Kuan Highly Commended.
South Pacific 12 years and under Accordion Championships Prize-giving. John Statham, Harley Jones, Richard She 1st, Abi Wills 2nd, Yiran Qin 3rd.
NZ Intermediate Accordion Orchestra Championship, North Shore Music Makers, Conductor Christine Adams assisted by Lynley Hawkes.
 
The Saturday afternoon competitions classes were run including the top solo category -
South Pacific Piano Accordion Solo Championship and also the top accordion orchestra category.
North Shore Musicale Accordion Orchestra conducted by Carol Yan winning the New Zealand Accordion Orchestra Championship.
 
The South Pacific Open Piano Accordion Solo Championship category is a
newly created international category. Results were: Christopher Thwaites (New Zealand) and Theresa Holzmeier (Germany) 1st =, George Xu (New Zealand) 3rd.
New Zealand Solo Piano Accordion Championship Open category.
Christopher Thwaites 1st, George Xu (New Zealand) 2nd, Edward Giffney 3rd.

Top Solo category South Pacific Piano Accordion Championships results were:
Grayson Masefield 1st (New Zealand), Daisy Huang 2nd (China / New Zealand), Jessica Chen 3rd (New Zealand).
North Shore Musicale Accordion Orchestra on stage, musical director Heather Masefield and conductor Carol Yan (centre) to collect trophy, certificates and ribbons.
